Ms. Belinder Jean Reed was born June 14, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan to Carrie Mae Bigby and Willie Carter. On Saturday July 25, 2020, she gained her heavenly wings and went home to be with the Lord at Covenant Medical Center.
“Brenda” as she would like to be called, found Christ at an early age at Truevine Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor R.B. Corley, Sr. She later attended Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church until her health began to fail her. She attended Buena Vista Public Schools and later graduated from Bridgeport Adult High school.
Brenda was an employee of Saginaw Public Schools District and the Holiday Inn Express for many years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going shopping, playing bingo and cooking.
Brenda was preceded in death by one daughter ,Tiny Terrell Reed; parents, Willie Carter and Carrie Mae Bigby; two sisters, Valarie Wright and Shirley McWright; two brothers, London Cox and Jessie Reed; grandmother, Addie Mae Cauthen; niece, Resheema McMillon; aunt, Dale Cauthen.
She leaves to cherish loving and wonderful memories her daughters, Anita Moore, Wyoming, Michigan, Ebony Reed, Lawrenceville, Georgia; four grandchildren, Ambreonna, Albert Jr., Ashley, and JaeQuan; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Larry Nelson, Calvin (Joy) McWright, David (Stephanie) McMillon, all of Saginaw, Michigan; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including special friends Mary Moore, Beverly Ramson, Gloria Brown, Jean Russell and Ocie Montgomery and many other loved ones too numerous to mention.
