Benjamin Lee

Benjamin Lee Sr., our beloved father, grandfather,
great-grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Cartwright Care Center after a lengthy illness. Age 80 years. Benjamin Lee Sr. (Baby brother) the 9th of 14 children was born September 20, 1930 in Itta Bena, Mississippi to Rev. Johnnie S. and Emma Lee .
Benjamin married the love of his life, Anna Lee in 1950. They moved to Saginaw, MI in 1953. They were married 15 years and to this union 7 children were born. He later married Prencilla Mosley and to this union 1 son was born, he was a father to nine children.
Benjamin was employed at GM Saginaw Malleable Iron. He retired in 1993 after being accredited with over 47 years of service and was a member of UAW Local 455. He was a member of Bethlehem Temple Church of the Apostolic Faith, baptized in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ and Holy Ghost filled. He served as an official Board member and was the former President of the Bethlehem Temple Church Usher Board where he served faithfully for many years.
Trustee Lee was outgoing, fun loving and had a great sense of humor. He was friendly and knew many people. His favorite saying was, Just sitting on my hind pockets. Most of all he loved his walk with the Lord and was full of Godly wisdom. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

(Shirley) Lee Sr., Saginaw, MI, Frederick D. (Sanora) Lee, Shreveport, LA; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren;7 sisters, Ora M. Loveless, Greenwood, MS, Pinkie Sanders, Chicago, IL, Ella V. Jones, Alberta Austin, Vivian (MC) Tarkington, Gladys Humes, Tena (Willie) Bond, all of Saginaw, MI; 2 brothers, L.H. (Davida) Lee, Davis (Emma) Lee, Saginaw, MI; sister-in-law, Mary E. Lee, Greenwood, MS; many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including special friends, Ms. Claudine Cooper, Nora Turner (Boo), Bro. David Bean and Bro. John Campbell.
