Ms. Bennetta Johnson passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 88 years. She was born January 7, 1922 in Little Rock, Arkansas to William and Alice Murphy.
She worked as a home healthcare aide. She was a member of Rosehill Missionary Baptist Church and a past member of the Elks and Eastern Stars. She loved being with her family laughing and joking.
Bennetta leaves to cherish her memory five daughters and two sons, Alvia (Nita) Johnson, Howard Johnson, Saginaw, MI, Ernest Johnson, South Dakota, Georgetta (Leroy) Woodhouse, Shreveport, LA, Benita (Donald) Anderson, Viola Johnson, Saginaw, MI, Kathy (James) Baskin, Lewisville, TX, many grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including a special nephew, Frank (Georgia) Conic. The family would like to give a special thanks to Alexander, Dorothy and Terry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Johnson; daughter, Rose Lee; two sons, Johnnie Hill, Willie Johnson; two grandchildren, Angelica and John and parents.
