Benny was a life-long resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bike riding and gardening. Benny loved spending time with his beloved dog Seven. His presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory four stepchildren, Kitty Dowdell, Gene Herrera, Darrell McLamare and Joyce Deveaux; several grandchildren; his mother, Pentra Trevino; five sisters, Blanche Marceleno, Beulah Mauws, Phyllis Angeles (Benito Alvarado), Mary Fritz, Randi (Chris) Moncada; two brothers, Bill (Julie) Mauws, Paul Mauws; fifteen nieces, Angie, Beulah, Toni, Melinda, Olivia, Crystal, Victoria, Alyssa, Angie, Elsa, Rebecca, Santana, Elexandria, Kristan and Angie; ten nephews, Jose, Bill (BJ), Romero, Jeff, Michael, Daniel, Phillip, John, Christopher A., Christopher M.; many other relatives and friends.
Benny was preceded in death by his father, Philip Mauws, stepmother, Irene Mauws, two sisters, Pentral Mauws and Betty Mauws Bettis, ex-wife, Kitty Dickerson, stepdaughter, Lawanna Douglas.
