Mr. Bernard Ray McCall was born June 14, 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Zebedee Sr. and Rosey Marie McCall. He went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at the age of 66 years.
Bernard resided in Fort Wayne, Indiana for seven months but spent most of his life in Saginaw, Michigan. He was employed by General Motors Corporation for over thirty years before retiring.
In his spare time, he loved to play horseshoes, dominos and cards and go shopping. He really enjoyed fishing and being on the water. An interesting hobby of his was flying kites. He said it was his way of touching the sky.
Bernard was such a joy to be around. He was definitely the life of the party and glue to our family. He loved his twin sister, Belinda, and the two shared a special bond. A family man at heart, he adored his children and grandchildren. He will forever be in our hearts and we will truly miss him.
Bernard was preceded in death by his parents, Zebedee Sr. and Rosey McCall; niece, Pamela Watts.
He leaves precious memories with his three children, Theresa McCall, Sharon McCall and Bernard Ray McCall, Jr.; stepdaughter, Tiffany Perkins; grandchildren, Jalicia Owens, Jasmine Owens, James Owens, Jr., Danae Wooten, Damoe’tae Wooten, Nashawn McCall, Makayla McCall, Brianne McCall, Malashia McCall; stepmother, Mary McCall; sisters, Belinda Tucker, Barbara McCall, Jean (Roy) Watts; brother, Zebedee Jr. (Virgie) McCall; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends Jeanette McCall Byers and the Harry Girls.
