Bernice L Watkins

Missionary Bernice L. Watkins passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2011at Covenant Healthcare- Cooper. Age 72 years. She was born August 18, 1939 in Marrianna, Arkansas to Allen and Estella Glaspy.
She graduated form Eliza Miller High School in West Helena, Arkansas. She retired from Saginaw Community Hospital.
Missionary Watkins was a member of Garden of Gethsemane Church of God In Christ, where she enjoyed bible study, also spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Missionary Watkins leaves to cherish her memory her children, Earnice Davis, Carl S. Watkins; ten grandchildren, Sherkera (Clifton) Armstrong , Gary L. Lacy II, Alexis Lacy, Carl Watkins II, Xaiver Watkins, Aleda Watkins, Hope Jackson, Sharea Davis, Devontea Davis, including a special grandchild, Shanice Welch; one great-grandchild, Taylor Ray; two sisters, Frankie L. (Elder Thomas) Hicks, Shirley (William) Newton; special aunt, Lula B. Jones; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including special friends, Missionary Josephine Bady and Gloria Thompson; A special thanks to Covenant Healthcare Emergency Staff and Saginaw MMR.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Watkins, parents, Allen and Estella (Pringle) Glaspy, son, Gary L. Lacy Sr.; brothers, George, James, Calvin and Lawrence Erby;
