Mrs. BethAnn Williams was born June 15, 1956 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Kenneth Higgins and Eloise Greenman. She was a beautiful baby that grew up to be a beautiful woman. Her beauty radiated from the inside out and that’s why people were drawn to her, especially children.
BethAnn was a high school and college graduate. She obtained her Associate’s Degree in Child Development from Delta College. She worked as a parent advocate for Saginaw Intermediate School District Head Start program for over thirty years. She loved to work and held a second job with Walmart as a Customer Service Manager.
BethAnn loved to bake cakes for family and friends, shop, and take trips. With a calming spirit and a passion for helping mothers and babies, she was often called upon to assist women give birth. BethAnn was a natural mother to five but a spiritual and adopted mother to countless kids. She was always available to whoever needed her, whether it was advice, a hug, a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on. Her presence will be missed but forever remembered.
On Tuesday, August 14, 2018, BethAnn went to be with her Heavenly Father; mother, Eloise Greenman; father-in-law, Benjamin Williams; goddaughter, Kentera Wafer; godsons, Omar McKnight, Demetrius Harris; niece, Ashley Orange; and close friend, Valarie Wright.
She leaves to cherish her memory loving husband of thirty-nine years, Lorrie “Larry” Williams; father, Kenneth Higgins; daughters, Jon’Toya (Teruo) Williams, Jomeisha Gochett-Woodson; sons, Juston Greenman, Jamar and Jamel (Tamara) Williams; stepchildren, Omar, CanJalette, Demarcus Nelson, Melonie Wilmont, Army Brown, John Harris; sisters, Mary Cook, Gloria Orange, Jessie Powell; grandchildren, Jay’Len, Ja’Taeya, Jon’Nesha, Jon’Tae, Bennina, Juannina, Diamondique, Juston Jr., Just’us, Starniece, Rashonda, RaSean, Emonie, Jermaine, Jamel Jr., Javir, Jairrah, Damariyon, Javontae; sister-in-law, Joanne (James) Banks; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including, Gene and Joe Malloy, Kathleen Greenman, Gloria Mushatt, Andrea Coleman, Ruthann Segovia, Marie “Piggie” Sausedo, Rachel Sausedo, Walmart Staff and Head Start Staff.
