Mrs. Bettie Jane Perry-Huntley passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Age 42 years. She was born to James and Bettie Perry on October 23, 1971 in Saginaw, Michigan. Bettie Jane moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2005 with her husband, Quentin Huntley, Sr., and son, Quentavious Perry. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Phoenix, Arizona. Bettie was a member of Community Temple Church of God in Christ of Saginaw, Michigan under leadership of Superintendent Willie W. Smith. She loved to sing, read, write books and go to the spa. One of her favorite saying was “Don’t worry, God is never blind to your tears, never deaf to your prayers, and never silent to your pains. He sees, He hears and He will deliver.”

Bettie leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Quentin Huntley, Sr., of Phoenix, Arizona; one daughter, Porsche Perry; three sons, Christopher and Quentavious Perry and Quentin Huntley, Jr.; three grandchildren, Christopher Perry Jr., Elena Amaro, De’Quavious Hendricks (Gibbler); her mother, Bettie J. Perry; grandparents, Betty J. Smith and Willie W. Smith, Sr.; three sisters, Trina L. Bryant, Jeanea Perry Crawford and Trivera Perry; two brothers, Tyrone Bridgewater, James E. (Christina) Perry; many nieces including 6 very special nieces, Yo’Nara Perry, AH’Janae Crawford; great-niece Jamayla Perry, Briana Perry, DzHari (Rose) Perry and Nishomii Perry; many nephews including 9 very special nephews Jasmonii Perry, Marquavion Perry, Onaja Perry, Tre’Jore Perry, Aieen Perry, great-nephew Craig Perry, Kaine Pordy, James Perry, Amarius and Javanni Perry; four aunts, Linda Petty Smith, Delana, Sharon and Joan Smith; two uncles, Willie Smith, Jr. and DeWayne Sample; many cousins; mother and father-in-law, Louise Huntley and Willie Huntley, Jr.; three sisters-in-law, Christina Perry, Marie (Red) Huntley, Diane Leal; five brothers-in-law, Elliot, Willie III, Anthony, Gerald and Brian Huntley; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Danielle Monroe, Jessica Belaney, Cheryl Flores, Noland and Pam King.

Bettie was preceded in death by her father, James E. Perry and grandmother, Betty J. Smith.
