Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend took her walk with the Lord on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at the age of 55 years. Ms. Betty C. Aultman was born on May 12, 1965 in Bogalusa, Louisiana to Freddie Ducre and Rosalind E. Vines.
Betty, a resident of Saginaw, Michigan, graduated from Ruben Daniels Lifelong Learning Center in 1999. She was a member of Mount Olive Institutional Missionary Baptist Church, and was previously employed at Saginaw Public Schools Transportation. She enjoyed food, bingo, fishing, watching Lifetime television, and spending time with her grandchildren. Betty’s precious smile and beautiful spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Stacey Bivins, Tracey Bivins and Dewand (Chimere) Currington; grandchildren, Jayme Ainna Gidron, Noradrian Turner, Jayvon Gidron, NyAsia Bivins, DeAnthony Bivins, Samarie’a Bivins, Jimmie Brown, Jr., Larry Patilla III, Liberty Bivins, Layla Bivins, La’Von Bivins and Lyrics Bivins; great grandchildren, Londyn Everett, DeHavion and Da’layah Turner; three sisters, Sandra Lindsey, Flint, Michigan, Alfreda and Neomi Ducre, both of Saginaw, Michigan, and Tywilia Ducre of Wichita Falls, Texas; two brothers, Darrell (Jennifer) Ducre, Mississippi, and Freddie Ducre, Saginaw, Michigan; special cousin, Dorothy Ducre; many nieces, nephews and friends including special friends, Deanna Everett and Linda Coleman.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Freddie Ducre and Rosalind E. Vines, sister, Deborrah Walker, brother, Coylee Ducre, grandmothers, Rosie Ducre and Charmell Rice, niece, Christy Montgomery, and best friend, Lucille Hicks.
The family would like to express special thanks to her caregivers, Brenea Jackson and Erika Hudson, Anthony Rogers Sr., the Pierson and Alford families, Ivan E. Phillips and the Staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
