Beverdale Thornton

Mrs. Beverdale Thornton passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Covenant Healthcare-Harrison. Age 89 years. She was born August 12, 1924 in Plainsville, Arkansas the youngest of 12 children born to George and Hester Love.
Beverdale was a faithful member of Christ Fellowship Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Robert Davis Jr. where she was a member of the Mother Board and was a Deaconess. She loved hats and new clothes. Beverdale had a hat to match every outfit. Her favorite TV show was Judge Judy. She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Jackie Thornton; two special nieces, Bessie Mackie of Detroit, Michigan and Betty Taylor of Donaldson, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends including special friends, The Robinson, Holmes and Crenshaw families, Pastor Robert Davis Jr. and the Christ Fellowship Baptist Church family.
Beverdale was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and seven sisters.
