Mr. Bill Stewart peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on June 22, 2015 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper at the age of 68 years. He was born June 13, 1947 in Jefferson County, Mississippi to the late Willie Frank Amos Sr. and Oleavie Stewart.
He united in Holy Matrimony to Jenneffe Parson on July 31, 1968, relocating to Saginaw, Michigan also in 1968 from Vicksburg, Mississippi. He was employed by the Saginaw Malleable Iron Plant and was a member of UAW Local 455. He was baptized at Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Union Church, Mississippi at an early age. On September 29, 1996, he united with New Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Robert E. Donald. He loved listening to the blues, playing the lottery and enjoyed dominoes with his buddies from Under the Tree. His favorite saying was Love to See You Smile. His presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Luter Sr.; godchildren, Jason Donald, Freddie and Steven Garcia, Mary Mims-Hatchett, Sylvia George and Willie Mae Bivens.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Frank Amos and Oleavie Stewart, his step-father, Joseph Stewart, his sisters, Gloria Stewart, Josephine Stewart, Lula Stewart, Dorothy Stewart and Nancy Amos, his brothers, Kenny Stewart, Carl Stewart, Tim Stewart, George Stewart Sr. (his twin), and Willie Frank Amos, Jr., special nephews, Kenny Stewart and DeAndre Stewart and a dear uncle, Ruben (Big Apple) Gray.
