Billy Ray Thompson passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 46 years. He was born October 25, 1966 in Indianola, Mississippi to Eddie Nuell and Cloria Thompson.
Billy attended the Michigan School for the Deaf in Flint, Michigan and the Lansing School for the Deaf in Lansing, Michigan. He worked a variety of jobs and was a hard worker. Billy enjoyed horseback riding, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory five sisters, Linda and Deborah Phoenix, LaShanda (Ronald) Swift, Michele and Erica Fisher; twelve nieces; seven nephews; four aunts, Annie (Jimmie) Cooper, Dorothy (Davis) Jackson, Sherry Jackson, Joyce General; four uncles, Walter (Minnie) Thompson, Willie Thompson, Tommy Thompson Jr., Milton Lee; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Wesley Harper, Isaac Stone, Deborah Goodwine and Dorothy Kelly.
Billy was preceded in death by his mother, Cloria Thompson Fisher; grandparents, Tommie and Viola Thompson; great-grandfather, James Harris; one cousin, Barbara Nevell.
