Bobbie Barbara Jean Jones, was born on June 28, 1940 in Newellton, LA to her mother, Georgia Troutman Diggs. She went home to be with the Lord on December 8, 2009. Age 69 years.
She attended Saginaw High School and completed the All American Beauty Academy. Barbara gave her life to Christ at an early age and she answered the call to the Ministry at the age of 32 and was a licensed Evangelist serving in the Ministry in Las Vegas, NV and Muskegon, MI.
Barbara is survived by her mother, Georgia L. Diggs; three sisters, Hazel Marie McMullen, Lovera Peaches Woods and Beverly Betty Diggs; brother, Larry Diggs; granddaughter, Tamika Walker; three grandsons, Steven (Esther) Clark of Tulsa, OK, Eric Clark and Mosby Clark II of Ypsilanti, MI; four great-grandchildren, Aliyah, Starr, Ayjah and Steven Jr.; son-in-law, Elder Mosby Clark; aunt, Hazel Roberts; uncle, Johnny Phillips; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including a special cousin, Dorothy Jean Hampton; three goddaughters, Jackie McKinnie, Tressa Dilworth and Dr. TuWanna Tudy Wesley; special friends, Pastor Jimmy (Rachel) Clark of Muskegon, MI.
Barbara was predeceased by her grandmother, Georgia Ransom; two daughters, Norma Jean Johnson and Brenda Joyce Clark (1st Lady of New Generation Apostolic Church); two brothers, James Diggs and Leroy Diggs; and sister, Verdia Nickson-Price.
