Ms. Bobbie Payton left us to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 29, 2021. She was born February 19, 1958 in Union Springs, Alabama to Willis Sr. and Willie Mae Youngblood.
Bobbie accepted Christ at an early age. As a resident of Saginaw, Michigan, she joined True Vine Missionary Baptist Church and was a faithful member for many years. She graduated from Saginaw High School, Class of 1976. After graduation, she pursued an education in nursing and retired from Community Healthsource.
Bobbie loved helping others which is why she enjoyed her job and thrived in it. Her best moments were spent with family, friends, and her church. She loved cookouts, joyriding and laughing with her nieces Akilah and Ahmarie. Her greatest joy was her son and the love and affection of her grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memory one beloved son, Calvin Payton, Jr. and his sisters, Tasha Willis, Akia Payton, and Ciji Youngblood; grandchildren, Marquavis Brooks, Torianna Brooks, Ananya Payton, Calvin Payton III; sisters, Agrony Youngblood-Thomas, Lilly Youngblood-Jones; brothers, Willis Jr., Jake and Jermaine Youngblood; aunts, Mattie Ivy, Chicago, Illinois and two more aunts in Alabama; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other beloved relatives and friends.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Willis Sr. and Willie Mae Youngblood; one brother, Malcolm Youngblood; nephew, Omar Jones.
