Bobby C. Johnson (Lansing)

Bobby Charles Johnson passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 59 years. He was born March 13, 1961, in Little Rock, Arkansas to A.J. Norris and Ethel Norris.

Bobby was a graduate of West Junior High School in Lansing, Michigan. He was a very simple man; a “homebody” who enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Bobby enjoyed painting houses and watching his daily TV shows. He was the oldest son and his mother loved him unconditionally, no matter the circumstances or situation; her love came with no borders. She would often proclaim to the family in his defense “He is mine, no matter what” and he too loved her and enjoyed giving back to her by doing odd jobs around her home.

Bobby is survived by his daughter, DaQieva Davis; son, Tucker Johnson; grandchildren, Dustani Davis, DaQuan Davis, and Zariaha Johnson; ten siblings, sisters, Cassandria (Derrick) Adams, Janet Norris, Undreal Norris, Vanessa Norris, Moneke (Marcus) Wourman, Letisha (Alvin) Holloway, Rochell Burke, Shanice Norris-Page and Lynette Gibson; brother, Tracy (Cheryl) Norris; special friend, Erica Trice and her children whom he loved, Chevey Taylor; Petrice Clarke, Monicka Baptiste, Delvonz Flamand, Stephonz Flamand, Christopher Loring, and bonus son, Dwayne Johnson; bonus grandchildren, Janavin Price, Jr., Harmony Price, and Braylon Bates; many aunts, uncles including special uncles, Earl and Donnell Sturghill; nieces, nephews, cousins including special cousin, Charles Ware, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, A.J. Norris and Ethel Norris; brother, James Norris, and grandmother, Theodoria Wilkerson.
