August 11, 1955 in Louisville, Mississippi to Kattie Lee Carter and S. T. Triplett.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Kattie Lee Carter; sisters, Bonnie Kaye Logan, Bonnie Ruth Carter, Arrie (Sam) Lawson, Hannah Carter; brothers, Bobby Wayne Carter, Larry Carter, Michael (Laura) Carter; ten nieces; 2 nephews; one aunt, Sadie Lee Carter; many other relatives and friends too numerous to name..
He was preceded in death by his father, S. T. Tripplett;
grandparents, Calvin and Millie Carter; two aunts, Mary Jane Tripplett and Iris Brown; three uncles, James Carter, Wendel Carter, A. L. Carter.
