Mr. Bobby Abraham peacefully transitioned into rest on May 13, 2020 at Covenant Cooper at the age of 73 years. He was born June 13, 1946 in Arcadia, Louisiana, the son of Hamp and Reatha Abraham.
Bobby, lovingly called “BJ”, was baptized at House of Prayer Apostolic Church under the leadership of Elder James Lewis. He retired from General Motors Grey Iron Foundry after twenty-six years of dedicated service. During that time, he was an active member of UAW Local 668.
In his spare time, BJ enjoyed dancing, singing and being in the company of his best friends, Marvin Clark “Dog” and Greg. His presence will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Hamp and Reatha Abraham; sisters, Frankie, Gloria, Mercie, Versie; brothers, Eddie and Allen; stepson, Cordel Brown.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of nineteen years, Vivian Abraham; two daughters, Reatha Abraham, Saginaw, Michigan, Katanya Abraham of Grand Rapids, Michigan; two sons, Bobby Jr. and Vincent (Dia) Abraham, both of Grand Rapids, Michigan; stepson, Demetre Brown, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat Byrd, Saginaw, Michigan, Faye (Jr.) Wesley, Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Lee (Regina) Raymond, Donald Abraham, both of Saginaw, Michigan; eight sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends Marvin (Norma) Clark and Greg.
