Ms. Bonnie Ruth Williams Simon began her earthly journey in life on April 9, 1947 in Kosciusko, Mississippi, the daughter of Annie and Herbert Williams, Sr. On Monday, January 16, 2017, she gained her eternal wings and entered the Kingdom of Heaven at the age of 69 years.
Bonnie accepted Christ at an early age. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of her pastor, Reverend Dr. Vincent McMillon where she sang in the choir. Bonnie was a 1965 graduate of Saginaw High School. She was a sharp dresser who loved to shop and travel. Bonnies beautiful smile and presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory one brother, Herbert Williams, Jr.; one aunt, Mrs. Delores Carter; three uncles, Walter Johnson, Rev. L.J. Williams and Dennis Williams; several nieces and nephews; special cousins, Hubert Williams, Shirley and Ollie Pearl Johnson; special sister-in-law Dieynaba Thiam; one god-sister, Sharise (Ivan) Phillips; many other relatives and friends including her special friends, Mabel Holloway, Joyce (Eddie) Jones, Claudia Merriweather, Judy Holloway-Mayes, Terri Holloway, Calvin Little, and special friend and sister, Diane Campbell.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Annie and Herbert Williams, Sr.; three brothers, Clarence, Robert and Brian Williams.
