Brandon Patrick Parker (Lansing)

On Friday, September 25, 2015, Brandon Patrick Calvin Hilyet Odell Marvio Gregory (Truman) Parker, passed away at the age of 34 in Lansing, Michigan. He was born March 17, 1981 in Anaheim, California, to Dennis (Truman) Parker, Sr. and Anna Diana Parker.
Brandon was the youngest of four children. At the age of 11, he received Jesus Christ in his life and was baptized at Prince of Peace Baptist Church. Brandon attended Jackson Public Schools, graduating in 1998 and continuing his education at Jackson Community College.
Brandon was a very funny, friendly, family member with emphasis on family. He loved to spend time with family of all ages, whether it was with the children at the bouncy house or collaborating with his brothers and other relatives, writing poetry lyrics, etc. Brandon was a good father and his love for his children was vividly displayed. He was sure and adamant about his relationship with Jesus. One of his many quotes was I know Im saved, check yourself! One of Brandons favorite songs was Its Been a Long Time Coming. Brandon was carried into the throne room of grace where he met the Lord face to face, reunited with those who had gone before him, and where he is now cheering us on to continue in the faith.
He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Brianna Truman-Parker and Klyee Walker of Lansing, Michigan; fiance, Alicia Walker of Lansing, Michigan; one sister, Lamia Purdue of Jackson, Michigan; two brothers, Dennis (Truman) Parker II of Jackson, Michigan and Anton (Nedra) (Truman) Parker of Lansing, Michigan; grandmothers, Vernita Payne of Lansing, Michigan and Rosie Curry of Alabama; many aunts, uncles, cousins, play cousins and friends.
