In Loving Memory of Brenda (Prellwitz) Conner

A Life Well Lived...

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brenda, who left us on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the age of 64. Brenda was the beloved daughter of Richard Prellwitz and Karen Matthias. She was also a beloved mother, sister and friend. Her life was a testament to love, dedication and generosity. 

Born on Wednesday, February 1, 1961, in Berlin, Wisconsin, Brenda grew up with five siblings. She loved WWE wrestling from a very young age and later in life she found joy in attending classic car shows. She introduced Cherri and John to her hobbies that they also found enjoyable as well. Brenda was a devoted Mother whose greatest joy came from spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. 

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Cherri Preston; granddaughters, Madysen and Brylee; grandsons, Cameron and Elijiah; siblings, Jeff (Dawn) Prellwitz, Robin VanWagner, Vikki (Woody) Appel, and Bobby Jo Prellwitz; her beloved cat, Hagrid, along with multiple nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who will love and cherish forever the memories and lessons they shared.  

Brenda was preceded in death by her loving son John Sparling; parents, Richard and Karen; brother, Dale Prellwitz; brother-in-law, James VanWagner; and her cat, Honey and grand-dog ,GiGi. 

As we say goodbye to Brenda, we hold on to the precious memories and the profound impact she had on our lives, Though she no longer is with us, Brenda’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved Her. 

Rest in peace, Brenda—You will be dearly missed and forever remembered. 

Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
