Brenda Faye Williams-Mcgee

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt, Brenda Faye Williams-McGee departed this earthly life on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the age of 59 years. She was born September 16, 1955 in Minden, Louisiana to Dorothy M. and Calvin Gill Sr.
Brenda was a faithful member of Truevine Missionary Baptist Church since 1969. In August 2007, Brenda joined James McGee in holy matrimony. He survives her. She retired from Ameritech, now known as AT&T in 2010 after 25 years of service. Brenda enjoyed cooking for friends and family, playing Candy Crush, gardening and taking pictures. Her presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her wonderful memory her devoted husband, James E. McGee; one daughter, Cassandra S. Barney (Noah Bruner); five stepchildren, Chris E. (Yamika) McGee, James Anthony (Kizzie) McGee, Gregory Williams Jr., Jackie Brown and Demondre Williams; grandchildren, Desirae, Breondra and Kasuan Barney; mother, Dorothy M. Gill; three sisters, Catherine Davis, Linda (William) Brewer and Felicia Gill; three brothers, Lonnie (Elizabeth) Gill, Calvin (Yolanda) Gill and Randy (Kim) Gill; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; mother-in-law, Dorothy McGee; many other relatives and friends including her special friends, Christine Boone, Rila Caldwell, Delores Giles, and Robin Walker.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Gill Sr., one sister, Angel Gill, nephew, Lonnie Gill Jr. and her former husband, Gregory "Mickey" Williams, Sr.
