The infinite wisdom of God was cherished when he blessed the home of Kenneth and Sharon Scott with a loving son on June 13, 1978 in Merrillville, Indiana whom they named Brian Curtis Scott.
Brian graduated from Everett High School. He furthered his education at Lansing Community College. Brian was a very industrious man who believed in hard work and getting the job done. He was employed by Dakota Integrated Systems. Brian confessed his faith in Christ as his personal savior at an early age when he joined New Jerusalem Church under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Charles E. Bicy. Brian was an active member and loved working in the Youth Department, Drama Club, Security Team and wherever a helping hand was needed.
Brain exhibited a true love of life. He enjoyed laughing and seeing others laugh with his signature smile. Brian was known as a giving, sharing and caring person. He had a heart for the youth and served as a coach on numerous youth football teams. In 2013 he led the Mighty Mite division to a championship. Brian was an active member of LOE Bikers Club, participating in many fundraising activities.
On Saturday, October 4, 2014 in the quietness of the night, he left all of the cares and woes behind. He is now resting in the presence of the Master.
