Brian Maurice Jones

Brian Maurice Jones passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012 at McLaren-Oakland Hospital at the age of 31. He was born April 10, 1981 in Saginaw, Michigan to Brian Maurice and Barbara J. Nutt.
Brian Maurice B was a life-long resident of Saginaw, Michigan until recently relocating to Pontiac, Michigan. He was a family man who loved his children. Brian enjoyed playing video games and caring for animals. He was well known for his skills in hair braiding. Brian loved and enjoyed living his life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Brian Maurice Jones II, Xavier Cavazos, Devlin Maurice Jones; one daughter, Briana Jones; parents, Brian Maurice and Barbara J. Nutt; grandmothers, Louise M. Nutt and Frances Jones Wiggins; one sister, Barbara (Kevin) James; two brothers, Antoine Jones, Devlin Nutt; one niece, Mikayla Bonner; two nephews, KaDhan and Hasan James; two aunts, Dr. Brenda L. (Andre) Walker, Nicole Goggins; eight great-aunts, Earlene, Lessie, Everlene, Eddie, Floria, Lillian, Betty Dancer and Velorice Collins; a great uncle, James (Pat) Williams; four uncles, Bradford Nutt, Curtis Jones Jr., Lawrence Jones, Bennie Jones; many other relatives and friends including a special friend, Veronica Cavazos.
Brian was preceded in death by two aunts, Albertina Jones, Lillian Huntley; one uncle, Ronald Nutt; and two great-uncles, Earnest and Leroy.
The family would like to express special thanks to Ivan E. Phillips and the staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel, Shea Galleria II, and especially God for sharing Brian with us for 31 years.
