Brian Terell White “Peanut”, beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the age of 28 years. Brian was born in Fernandina Beach, Florida on November 12, 1991 to Yolanda White and Brian Collins. He moved to Saginaw, Michigan with his mother and brother TJ when he was just 2 years old.
Brian was a member of the Spiritual Israel Church and Its Army, where he served as a Junior Deacon in his youth and later became a Senior Deacon. He was also a member of the youth choir, Youth Outreach Program and was a strong force on the church Youth Step Club. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 2009 and later attended Delta College.
While living with Sickle Cell Anemia, Brian had to overcome many challenges throughout his life, but he always managed to keep his head up and keep a positive spirit. Because of those challenges, Brian was not able to participate much in organized sports, but he was on the wrestling team for a short time. He found enjoyment in hanging out with his brothers and cousins, attending church events, and playing video games. Brian was the oldest of three boys, and you could tell. He thought he was the boss of all bosses and he never had a problem showing it. Brian will be remembered by not only his big heart and demanding attitude, but also by his big smile that could light up a room.
Brian will be loved and remembered by his mother Yolanda White; father Brian Collins; grandparents, Robert and Lavona Davis; brothers, Troy Williams Jr. “TJ” and Terrence Matthews Jr. “Little Terry”; two aunts, Matricia Prince, Kamilah (Jimmie) Wilson; one uncle, Lonnie (Brenda) White; one nephew, Terrence Matthews III; godmother, Jonette (Will) Davis; godsisters, Shlondra Evans, Juanita and Annette Cochran, LaKia Hamilton, M’Kya Presley; godbrothers, Montez Cochran, Bert Brown, and Javon Wilson; a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
