Mr. Calvin Kent Adams passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 at his residence. Age 59 years. He was born September 23, 1953 in McComb, Mississippi to Barnard and Lillie Adams.
Calvin relocated to Saginaw, Michigan at an early age. He attended Saginaw Public Schools and was a graduate of Saginaw High School. Calvin later attended the University of Spring Arbor and received a bachelors degree in psychology. Gone but not forgotten, his presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Brenda Joyce Adams; stepchildren, Felton and Brenita Ellis, both of Saginaw, Michigan; eight siblings, Elizabeth Johnson and Spencer Adams, both of Saginaw, Michigan, Thomas Adams of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Bernell Adams of Harvey, Illinois, Brenda Joyce Adams of Summit, Mississippi, Linda Bee Ross of Brunswick, Georgia, Christopher Adams of Indianapolis, Indiana and Brady Adams of Coleman, Florida; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Mary West, Geraldine Wilson and Algertha Pritchett.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, Lillie and Barnard Adams, one brother, Barnard Adams Jr. and one special nephew, Brian Mason.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Mary West, Geraldine Wilson, Algertha Pritchett, Teresa Ivey, Southern Care Hospice and everyone who offered kind words, condolences and prayers.
