Calvin Skinner Jr. passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 at St. Mary's of Michigan Medical Center. Age 66 years. He was born July 25, 1945 in Saginaw, Michigan to Ethel Williams and Calvin Skinner Sr.
He was employed at General Motors for 32 years and retired in 2002. Calvin enjoyed fishing and movies. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Peggie Skinner; four daughters, Janise Jones, Rose Davis, Tomekia Howard, Capatreon Howard; four sons, Frankie Skinner, LaRon Burress, Mitchell (Sharese) Holden, Cordelfo Howard; grandchildren, Frankie Skinner Jr., Saginaw, Erika Skinner, LaPlace, Louisiana, Talia Ringuette, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Kylor Skinner and Jalen Skinner, both of Gwinn, Michigan, Darius Henton (Red), Brianna Harmon, Ashley Jones, LaRon Burress, Stephen Jones Jr., Key'Shawn, Marquise, Au Marrion and DeMarion Jones, Terri Turner; three sisters, Marcia Holden, Dorothy (Willie) Butler, Terri Falls; two brothers, Thomas (Charlotte) Skinner, Birmingham, Alabama,Jerry Holden; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel Williams and Calvin Skinner Sr.; son, Stephen Jones; sister, Diane Green; and brother, John Earl Skinner.
