Calvin Tyrone Williams

Calvin Tyrone Williams, beloved father, grandfather and brother, born September 29, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan to Theodore and Hazel L. Williams, passed away suddenly on March 11, 2018 at the age of 62 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Nitashia (Terry) Simmons, Saginaw, Michigan; three sisters, Herresol Williams “Tene” Saginaw, Michigan, Theodora Williams-Carter “Mimi” McDonough, Georgia and Gloria Williams “Dodie” Canton, Michigan; one brother in-law, Nathan Vaughn, Sr.; three grandchildren, Anilah Ortiz, Kasin Simmons and KyRie Simmons; three nephews, Nathan (Bethan) Vaughn, Jr., Reginald Vaughn, and Christopher Carter; six nieces, Lesia (Al) Riddick, Tanesha Williams, Tangela (James) Williams, Deandra Turner, Vera Avery, and Kaywanna Dawkins; two godsisters, Mildred Braddock and Gloria Blanchard; very close cousins, George Foreman, Lawrence Newton and Leonard Gaines; many other cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews; a very dear friend, Geraldine McCray; special friend since childhood, Jerry Mounger (Mahoney), and close friends at Elmwood Manor, Leo Johnson “Peete,” Willie Hines, and Dawn Genwright.

Calvin was predeceased by his parents Theodore and Hazel L. Williams, sister, Prince Ella Vaughn and brother-in-law, Ronnie Carter. His brother, Leander Mixson, Jr., passed shortly after Calvin on March 16, 2018.
