Ms. Carelyn Wesley passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018 at St. Mary’s of Michigan-Saginaw at the age of 67 years. She was born on February 6, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan to Gene and Fredella Henderson.
Carelyn was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, watching her soaps and cooking. She was employed at Schiavone Homes for 20+ years as a caregiver. Our mother was that one special person in your life that you could call upon in your time of need. She would go out of her way to help you no matter what your problem was, even if you just needed someone to talk to, she was there to listen. No matter if you were family or a friend, she was there.
Ms. Wesley leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Serena Wesley and Paulette (David) Moore; three sons, Eric, Bruce (Rebecca) and Maurice Wesley; eleven grandchildren, Lucretia, Brianna, Nakeshia Wesley, Saginaw, Michigan, Deonte Wesley, Bay City, Michigan, Terry Aglin, Holland, Michigan, Breika and Reginnald Cooper, Damika Moore and Tenesha Selvey, all of Saginaw, Michigan, ReTeika (Dametrus) Cotton, Columbus, Ohio, Maurkeshia Wesley, Texarkana, Texas; special great-granddaughter, Janila Hayes and Damarea Harper, Saginaw, Michigan; three sisters, Gloria (Darryl) Eiland, Ernestine Henderson, Saginaw, Michigan, and Diana Jones, Austin, Texas; one brother, Lee (Pearl) Henderson; many nieces; nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; special nieces, Rhonda (Tommy) Atkins, Tameera Henderson; many other relatives and friends; special friend, Jennifer Merton, Saginaw, Michigan.
Carelyn was preceded in death her husband, James Wesley; parents, Gene and Fredella Henderson; three brothers, Wardell, Willis and Ornail Henderson; one niece, Sia Elliott; one nephew, Dion Daniels; sister-in-law, Juanita Henderson; special friends, Sandra “Cutney” Cross and Cathy Brown; cousin, Jena Brazil
