Mr. Carl Edward Holiday was born June 5, 1957 in Saginaw, Michigan to Warnell Holiday and Bertha Goodman. He received his reward on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the age of 63 years.
Carl was a graduate of Saginaw High School, “Class of 1975.” After graduation, he became employed with General Motors Steering Gear and worked faithfully for thirty years until his health issues. He was a dedicated member of Lighthouse of Glory Church and served devotedly for many years.
Carl’s hobbies included fishing, playing basketball, going to the casino and playing his lottery numbers. He was always full of life and love. He was a man of faith and family, and he will truly be missed.
Carl was preceded in death by his father, Warnell Holiday; stepfather, Johnny Goodman; brother, Calvin Pugh; grandparents, Calvin and Nettie Ray, George and Ora Lee Holiday.
He leaves precious memories with his only son, Carl Holiday, Jr.; stepdaughter, Asia Beeman; mother, Bertha Goodman; nine grandchildren; sisters, Shirley (James) Franklin, Barbara Ann Payne; brothers, Osborne (Sharon) Pugh, Harold Ray, Jerome (Beverly) Holiday; aunts, Rosilyn Goodlowe, Kathy (William) Larde; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends Robert, Victor, Veto, Michael and Pastor Spencer.
