Carlos Andrea Cosey Jr., to those that knew him, “Punch” was born January 15, 1988 in Lansing, Michigan to Carlos Andrea Cosey Sr. and Alexa Marie Alston. Carlos confessed hope in Christ at the age of five. He completed High School, attended Lansing Community College, and Valencia College in Orlando, Florida. Carlos loved sports as a child. At age 10, he suffered an injury from a large cranial tumor that was thought to have brought his sports activities to a halt. At that time, he was told he would never be able to play contact sports again. Carlos had always been a fighter, hence the nickname “Punch”. He wanted to prove the doctor’s diagnosis to be wrong, so he continued to play sports and became one of the best athletes in his youth. Carlos was an avid MSU fan and supporter. He was very outgoing, well liked, and will be forever missed. He will always be remembered by friends, family and the seven lives he saved with his organ donations at his departure.
