Carolyn Trice-Roberson

March 22, 1955 — February 28, 2020

Mrs. Carolyn Trice-Roberson was born March 22, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to Horace and Callie Trice. After a tough fight with cancer, she passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, February 28, 2020. We take great comfort in knowing that she is healed and safe in the Master’s arms.

Carolyn accepted Christ at an early age at Williams Temple C.O.G.I.C. in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Chicago Public Schools until her family moved to Saginaw, Michigan. She then attended Saginaw Public Schools, received her General Education Diploma and later was hired by the General Motors Corporation Grey Iron Foundry.

Carolyn birthed two precious gifts, Delvon and Deleasha Trice. Her two children brought her so much joy and happiness. She was a great mother and a wonderful grandmother, cherishing each moment with her family. Painting, traveling, playing cards with her family and friends and fishing were her favorite hobbies. Shopping and visiting the sick and shut-in with her missionary group were also things she enjoyed.

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend has received her crown and her mansion in the sky. Well done, thy good and faithful servant.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, LaMorse Roberson; son, Delvon Trice; parents, Horace and Callie Trice; sister, Geraldine Surles; brother, David Trice.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Deleasha Trice; grandsons, Larry Trice-King and Darius Trice; great-grandchildren, McKenzie Trice-King, Darius Jr. and Madison Trice; stepson, Trudell Wright; sisters, Maria and Vanessa Trice, Nina Thomas; brothers, Johnny, Henry, Anthony, Kevin Trice; special niece, Megan R. Trice; goddaughter, Alga Jones; fur grandson, Lil Dice; five sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends Deana Carruth, Janice Gregory, Mattie Calhoun, Brenda Moore, Mary Scott, and her many missionary members.
