Cary Davis

January 14, 1989 — December 24, 2020

Mr. Cary LaMar Davis was born January 14, 1989 in Saginaw, Michigan, the beloved son of Shawn M. Davis and Dineka M. Fifer. He transitioned on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at the age of 31 years.

Cary was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School, “Class of 2007.” He was the recipient of a $100,000 scholarship to the Art Institute of Atlanta because of God-given gift of artistry and illustration. His art won him numerous awards and inspired him to become a tattoo artist.

Cary was a member of Prince of Peace Church, where he served on the Greeters Committee, Drill Team, Youth Choir Mime Ministry, bible study and Sunday School. He was employed with Printing Press in Carrollton Township and worked for Michigan Sugan Company in Bay City, Michigan. In 2019, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to further his career in music. He had a deep love and passion for music, which shaped him into a promising artist. His music was his life and he was always working on ways to perfect his music so that he could take care of his family.

Cary loved the Lord, his kids, parents and Granny. He was affectionately known as Lucky Black and Pooh Bear. He loved his family and loved spending time with them. He had a special bond and was close to each of his siblings. His sister Dyqueasha was especially close to him, and he referred to her as the Robin to his Batman. Cary’s absence among us is truly felt and we will forever miss and remember him.

Cary was preceded in death by one stepbrother, Terrance Holiday; grandmother, Katherine Davis; grandfather, Nezer Davis; nephew, Devin Davis; uncles, Aron Williams, Damor L. Donald; great-great-grandmothers, Willie Neal, Leanor Brown; and great-great-grandfather, Chester Moten.
