Ms. Caryn Renee Skinner was born March 4, 1965 in Saginaw, Michigan to Willie Smith and Diane Green. She passed away Friday, July 5, 2019. Age 54 years.

Caryn graduated from Ruben Daniels in 1983 with her General Education Diploma. She then became a CNA and worked in the healthcare field for many years. She was a member of Daniel’s Den Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Taurus Simpson.

Caryn was full of love and life. She enjoyed dancing, shopping and socializing. She was the glue of her family and enjoyed spending quality time with them. Her grandchildren brought her such joy and she cherished every moment with them. Caryn will definitely be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Caryn was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Smith and Diane Green; sister, Sabrina Garcia; brother-in-law, Willie Adkins; and Ethel Williams.

She leaves precious memories with three sons, Kenneth D. Skinner, Kennard D. Sanders, Cameron R. Skinner, all of Saginaw, Michigan; grandchildren, Kenneth D. Skinner, Jr., Kenari R. Sanders, Shiloh R. Baker, Zacari K. Baker; sister, Roslyn Adkins, Indianapolis, Indiana; brothers, LaMark Pleasant (Cynthia Wooden), Demarco Pleasant, both of Saginaw, Michigan; aunts, Marcia Holden, Dorothy (Willie) Butler, Terri Falls, all of Saginaw, Michigan; uncles, Jerry Holden, Saginaw, Michigan, Thomas Skinner, Arkansas; brothers-in-law, Michael Reyes; goddaughter, Staci Lincoln; many nieces, including special niece, Shatia Adkins, Indianapolis, Indiana; many nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends, Mildred Long, Donn Price, Ebony Marshall, Denise Braddock, Dorothy Amos and the Amos Family.
