Catherine I. Foster (Lansing)

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, Ms. Catherine Irene Foster passed away in her home, Thursday, March 1, 2018, in Holt, Michigan. Age 69 years. Catherine was born February 28, 1949 in Lexington, Kentucky to Catherine Buffington and Oscar Brock.

Although Catherine was disabled due to numerous illnesses, she enjoyed her quiet life in Holt for many years. She found great pleasure in spending time with God by watching sermons on television. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her children and her sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Dawn Urmey; two sons, Kevin Brock, Steven Rice; four grandchildren, Perry, Paige, McKenzie, and Camron, all of whom she loved very much; one brother, Martin; three sisters, Norma Jean, Ruth, and Rose; many other relatives and friends, which includes lots of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, whom she also cherished.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, grandmother, Myrtle, grandfather, Noah, two uncles, and two aunts.
