Catherine Yvonne "Kitty" Voltz

June 23, 1942 — June 1, 2018

Catherine Yvonne Voltz, affectionately nicknamed “Kitty”, was born on June 23, 1942 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Charlie and Willie Mae Baber. She was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan where she met and married her true love, Daniel Voltz, Jr. A faithful member of Christ Disciples Baptist Church, she loved singing in the choir and fellowshipping with her church family. Kitty enjoyed traveling with family and friends, gardening, painting and gathering with her Elk Lodge brothers and sisters. Her passion for cooking and hosting dinners made family events fun and memorable. Her favorite hobby was interior decorating. She had the ability to transform a room. Her keen eye for detail and personal style allowed her to turn a house into a home. She could mix fabrics and colors, and make something out of nothing. Kitty was known for her remarkable kind heart, giving spirit and love of family. She fought the good fight. She finished her race. She kept the faith. And she has now received the crown of righteousness from her Lord and Savior.
