Ceazar Abernathy

December 12, 1989 — April 6, 2024

Mr. Ceazar Antwon Terell “Ceab” Abernathy, 34, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 6th, 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia. Ceab graced us with his presence on December 12, 1989, in Saginaw, Michigan to Benita Dickson and Clarence Abernathy.


Born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan, he attended Buena Vista High School. Later on in life he moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and began a career in trucking. He loved traveling state to state and exploring different cities. Ceab had dreams of buying his own semi and being an independent owner/operator.


Ceab leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion. He was known for calling everyone and talking for hours. Even if you couldn’t see Ceab in person, he made sure his presence was always near.


Ceab leaves behind to cherish his one and only son, Antourion Epperson whom he loved dearly; grandmother, Eddie Mae Dickson; father, Clarence Abernathy; sisters, Tracey Dickson, Chante Abernathy, Jayuanna Dickson, and Diamond Herron; brothers, Clarence Abernathy and Rico Herron; nieces, Taraji Abernathy, Cazari Abernathy, Tranita and Alaina Dickson; nephews, Kingston Brown, Derek Dickson, Tru Gandy, Jamicheal and Vincent Mondie; aunts, Deidra Dickson, Cynthia Abernathy, Antoinette Moore, and Natalie Jackson; uncles, Arthur Dickson, Ronald Williams, and Walter Abernathy; a host of cousins and many other relatives; friends, Jasmine, Coo, Charquia, and the mother of his child, Antoria Jones.


Ceab was welcomed home to Heaven by his mother, Benita Dickson; nephew, Ricky Mondie; cousins, Octavia and Walter; aunts, Debra and Renee Abernathy; grandmother, Minnie Black Dorsett; grandfather, Leonard Dorsett; uncles, Jahmal Dorsett, and Warren Abernathy; close friends, Toriano and Damontae.


The family would like to express special thanks to the Buena Vista Community Family, extended family and friends, Ivan E. Phillips and the Staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
