Charles C Ledden

August 27, 1928 — January 5, 2012

Our beloved father, brother, uncle and cousin went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 5, 2012. Age 83. He was born August 27, 1928 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Hugsie Ledden and Suvellia Jones Ledden.
Charles moved to Saginaw, Michigan during the 1950's. He was employed by Grey Iron Foundry and was a member of UAW Local 668. He retired after many years of service. Charles was baptized in 1961 at New Mount Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching old western movies.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Suvellia Boggs and Leeunice Washington both of Kansas City, Missouri; seven grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carrie Mae (Solomon) Brunson, Flint, Michigan, Helen Bennett, Pine Bluff, Arkansas; a very special cousin who was like a sister to him, Roxie Mae (Robert) Ford; a special nephew, Matthew D. Ford Jr. (Pighead); many other nieces, nephews, and cousins including special friends Charles McClaine and the Southside Tree Crew.
Charles was predeceased by his parents, Hugsie and Suvellia Ledden, Susie Ledden, whom helped raised him, two dear friends, LeRoy Johnson and West Cotton.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Dr. Guarnes, Dr. Joseph Burtual and staff, Billy Stewart and family, Ernest Flower, Paster and Gloria Lathon.
