Charles Chambers "Chuckie" (Lansing)

Mr. Charles Harrison Chambers “Chuckie” passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Sparrow Health Systems Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 70 years. Chuckie was born November 17, 1951, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to parents, William Chambers and Lillian Hart.

Chuckie resided in Lansing, Michigan and was a graduate of Lansing Community College. He worked for the State of Michigan at the Jackson Correctional Facility, later retiring from this job.

He enjoyed gardening, arts & crafts, music, and cleaning his car.

Many knew and loved Chuckie and he will be greatly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Taiwan Chambers of Lansing, Michigan and William Chambers of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; daughters, Leticia Chambers, Taiann Blanchard, and Tanata Chambers all of Lansing, Michigan; grandchildren, Taiari Chambers, Ayrion Allen-White, Amarion Allen-White, Iesha Allen-White, Jordan Blanchard, Kobe Chambers-Wallace, Taianna Blanchard, Sage Chambers-Wilson, all of Lansing, Michigan,  Darion Chambers, and Andrew Chambers of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; mother, Lillian Hart; sister, Stephanie Ansley Clark;  niece, Leslie Stevenson; aunt, Harriet; cousins, Loomis, Marcia, and  Sharron Peatross; and many other relatives and friends.

Chuckie was preceded in death by his father, William Chambers; sister, Phyllis; brother, Jonathan; aunts, Marion, Hazel, Theresa; and uncles, Julius and Gary; and cousin, Gary Peatross.
