Charles Edmonds (Lansing)

Mr. Charles Ephrian Edmonds passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at McLaren-Greater Lansing, in Lansing, Michigan. Age of 77 years. He was born June 11, 1942 to Ephrian Edmonds and Ethel McCord in Elkton, Kentucky.

Charles and Roberta Edmonds were married for 52 years and to their union four children were born. He was a great provider working two jobs and long hours to make sure his wife and children had what the family needed for a good life. Charles was a great family man who was God sent to help Roberta in raising their two boys and four girls. He deeply loved Roberta, his sons and daughters. Family always came first with Charles.

He proudly served his country in both the Navy and Army National Guard for over 20 years.

He leaves to celebrate his life, his loving wife, Roberta; children, Karrie (Maurice) Mullins, Brianne Edmonds, Nick Edmonds, Brandon Edmonds, stepdaughter, Sheila Mainville; grandchildren, Kazzie, Myiah, Ny’Azia, Ashanti, Jason, David, Ethan, Brandon Jr., Brielle, Brina, Braylon, Chris, Savian, Janelle, Re-Re, Alaysia and Kara, just to name a few.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
