Charles Haygood

Charles Haygood passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 at his residence. Age 56 years. He was born January 22, 1957 in Saginaw, Michigan to Charles Miller and Dorothy Jackson.Charles was a member of Candlelight Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Jimmy L. Simington.He enjoyed playing chess and walking in the yard. His presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Shelia Thomas Haygood; one daughter, Lashanda Haygood; three sons, Charles Haynes, Charles Jr. and Jamel Haygood; four stepchildren, Steven, Arthur, Mario and Vida Thomas; ten grandchildren; three sisters, Margie F. Jackson, Fredia Henry and Sandra Parker; three brothers, Cecil Jackson Sr., Kenny Madison and Clinton Miller; several nieces and nephews; three aunts, Camellia, Dorothy and Carolyn, all of Arkansas; father-in-law, Edward Thomas; eight sisters-in-law, Rosemary (Scipio), Gwen, Venita, Vernice, Debbie, Renee, Alfredia, Rose; two brothers-in-law, Eric and Venus; many other relatives and friends including a special niece, Tenisha Jackson, special cousin, Leslie Jackson, special friends, Daniel and Catherine Voltz.Charles was preceded in death by Henton and Randy Jackson.The family would like to express special thanks to the Candlelight Missionary Baptist Church family, Dr. Nina and staff, Dr. Borenitsch and staff.
