Charles Paul Wynn, “King”, was born June 20, 1953, the third child to Harry and Leola Wynn. He passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the age of 65 years.
Charles was a product of Flint Community Schools and graduated from Flint Northwestern High School, “Class of 1971.” Upon graduation, he was employed by General Motors and AT&T. He held an Associates Degree in Business from Jordan College of Business.
King was a jack of all trades but a true lover of music. His favorite instrument was the guitar. He accepted Christ as a child but as an adult, he rededicated his life to Christ and was baptized again at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Burt, Michigan. At Mt. Zion, he was president of the male chorus and a deacon in training.
Aside from the birth of his only child Chantia Re’nea Wynn, one of the most joyous occasions in his life was marrying his beloved, Mary Parham. The two resided happily together until his transition to heaven on April 4.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Leola Wynn; grandparents, Camie and Annie Jane Wynn, Leon Sr. and Corela Thomas Honeywood;aunt, Annie Williams; uncle, Cammie Wynn, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory wife, Mary Wynn; daughters, Chantia Wynn, Brandy Allen, Angela Benson, Devonna Benson, LaKenya (Herb) Curl, Jalisa Rogers (Bryant Dean); sons, Dwayne Parham, Rocoid Rogers, Johnny (Trienice) Benson; sister, Linda (Anthony) Tippit; brother, Harry Wynn, Jr.; aunt, Ruby Brown, Lula Aubrey; sisters-in-law, Janice Parham, Doris Richardson, Theresa Parham; brothers-in-law, Robert Lee Parham, Earnest Parham, Jr.; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
