Our beautiful angel ascended to heaven to be with his Heavenly Father on May 28, 2020. He was gifted to this world on May 15, 1980 to Hugh and Bernice Pruitt.
Charles affectionately known to those who loved him as Bud, Charlie and Sweets, brought extreme joy and love to all the lives that he touched. His pure heart and sweet spirit will forever be missed. He was adored by everyone that he met.
He was a very classy guy with extreme integrity and loyalty to his family. Always stylishly dressed, he loved shopping with his best friend George at his favorite shopping spot, Neiman Marcus, where he purchased and was always seen wearing his favorite designers: Chanel, Gucci, Balmain, Alexander McQueen, Givenchy and Buscemi. He will be missed by his Neiman Marcus fan club.
Some of his other favorite activities were taking long drives and going to restaurants with his best friend and mother, who was his sole caregiver for over 40 years and whom he loved very much! He also enjoyed going to Cedar Point, restaurants, movies with his brother Shawn, going to Macy’s to visit his former high school teacher Vermel, chasing race car parts with his brother Tracy and his dog Flex and spending time grocery shopping, running errands and visiting his sister La Juan.
He is survived by his parents, Hugh and Bernice Pruitt; brothers, Hugh Jr. (Michele) Pruitt, whom he enjoyed long drives with, Dereon (Joy) Pruitt, who dedicated his time for many years every Sunday from 11am to 7pm to be with Charlie in order to give his mom a break, barber Tracy (Keisha) Pruitt; his incredibly special friend, George who’s been in his life and supported him for over 20 years; his ole buddy and big brother Shawn Pruitt; only sister and best pal La Juan (Tim – his snack buddy) Prince; special aunt that he loved to visit, Alberta (Sam)Pruitt; nephews Trey, Tracy Jr. and Kason Pruitt; nieces, Peyton and Ajalon Pruitt; special niece, Jackie Pruitt; special cousins, Robert (Ona) Little; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Charles was predeceased by his niece, Londyn Pruitt and many other relatives.
Charlie lived a beautiful life of pure innocence. Our lives are forever changed. We were wonderfully blessed to have such a beautiful angel in our lives. Through all the years that his mother cared for him, even though the work was hard, she never once complained. Instead, she chose to praise God for choosing her to be the mother of His beautiful special baby.
Until we meet again…Rest in Perfect Peace our Sweet Baby…
