God put His loving arms around you and whispered, Come to me my child." Mr. Charles Keith Taylor, Sr. was called home on Monday, July 13, 2015 at the age of 50 years. He was born June 28, 1965 in Brownsville, Tennessee to Edmond and Earline Taylor Sr.
Charles was a resident of Lansing, Michigan. He was a 1983 graduate of Saginaw High School. To further his education, Charles attended Saginaw Valley State University. He was employed by General Motors Corporation and was a UAW member for over 20 years. Charles was a member of New Covenant Christian Center under the leadership of Dr. Ron Frierson. He loved spending time with his children. Gone too soon but never forgotten, his presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to celebrate his legacy one daughter, Kayla Nicole Taylor; one son, Charles Keith Taylor Jr.; one grandson, Blake Alexander Lewis; his mother, Earline Taylor; two sisters, Jackie (Robert Lee) Scott and Alvis (Roy Lee) Thompson; one brother, Vince Eric Taylor; seven nieces, Courtney, Channell, Byonka, Erica, Amber, Felicia, Tanuel and Teoahnna; four nephews, Jarvis, Desmond, Damion and Edmond III; three aunts Ruth (J.T.) Hall and Julie Taylor of Brownsville, Tennessee, and a very special aunt, Vurnna L. Pirtle of Decatur, Illinois; one uncle, Samuel Taylor of Brownsville, Tennessee; a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews; one sister-in-law, Cynthia L. Taylor; special friend and mother of his children, Michelle Taylor Ruffin; many other relatives and friends including a dear friend, Pamela Walker.
Charles was preceded in death by his father, Edmond Taylor Sr., grandparents, Ed and Lillie Pirtle, J.W. and Laura Leora Taylor, two brothers, Bruce Edward Taylor and Edmond Taylor Jr.
