Mr. Charlie Young Pop passed away Friday, January 10, 2014. Age 81 years. He was born April 10, 1932 in Sunflower, Mississippi to Harry and Edna Liggins Young.
On December 18, 1956 he was united in holy matrimony to Louise Riley. She preceded him in death. Charlie was a member of Emmanuel Church of Deliverance under the leadership of Pastor Provis Carter. His presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Carl (Retha) Young, Edward (Edna) Young, Mary (Anthony) Knight, Richard Young (Rachel Richter) and Kilp Young; twenty-eight grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Young was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Edna Young, wife, Louise, one son, Larry D. Young; one daughter, Peggy, grandsons, Richard Riley Young and Larry LeMarkus Byrd, brothers, Joe, Levi, James, Anderson and William, sisters, Fanny Mae and Mary Jane.
