Ms. Cherie Lynn Stevenson, “Sherie, Cherie” the spiritual artist, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 in Culver City, California. Age 62 years. Cherie was born December 16, 1957 in Saginaw, Michigan to Cole Y. and Betty (Evans) Stevenson.

Cherie was a graduate of Saginaw High School, Class of 1976. She attended Oakland University where she studied Art, which became her life’s passion. Cherie was an entrepreneur and owned several businesses over the years. She was well known for her many talented art skills, which included air brushing, commercial art, freelance drawings, portraits, and screen printing. She was also known for her culinary skills and stressed healthy eating by cooking for her loved ones on a regular basis. To know Cherie was to love her, she lived a carefree and selfless life, always looking out for others.

Cherie was preceded in death by her father, Cole Young Stevenson; brother, George Stevenson; and her grandparents.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Betty Stevenson; sister, Terri A. Stevenson; brothers, Cole Duane, Julian, Tony, Lance and Torrion Stevenson; aunts, Diane Evans, Martina McKinnon, Mildred Landrum; uncle, Donnie Stevenson; her nephews & nieces who were ALL very special to her, Toriano Smith, Julian Taylor, LaQuina Lebron, Cherie Lebron, Melanie Stevenson, DeLance Stephens, Danny Robinson, Tony Stevenson II, Isaiah Stevenson, Keisha Williams, Shakoya Simon, Daryl White, Parrys Stevenson, Stacy Hill; many great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to express a special thanks Karen (Winchester) Murphy, Ivan E. Phillips and the Staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
