Mr. Chris Colvin passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Covenant Healthcare-Harrison surrounded by family and Friends. Age 53 years. Chris was born July 17, 1957 in Saginaw, Michigan to Alonza Colvin and Billie J. Colver.
Chris attended Saginaw schools and graduated from Buena Vista high school in 1974. He also served in the United States Army.
He is survived by his parents, Alonza (Charlene) Colvin; mother, Billie J. Williams, Saginaw, MI; two sisters, Judy (Frank) Webb, Bridgeport, MI, Elizabeth (Herb) Buckley, Romulus, MI; two brothers, Maxwell Barrington of China, Mark Colvin of VA; nieces and nephews whom he loved very much, Tinene Colvin, Ashley and FredL Jackson, Ayanna (Eric) Reynolds, Arynn and Gerard Reynolds, Atlanta, GA, Herbbie and Alexis Buckley, Romulus, MI, Sean Bias, Birmingham, AL; two uncles, Robert Colvin, Alto Colvin; four aunts, Betty Colvin of NY, Deloris Colvin, Barbara
Bacon both of MI, Gloria Patterson of CA; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Delois Simmons & Family. The family would like to express a
special thanks to the staff of Aleda E. Lutz VAMC for their many years of faithful care especially his devoted nurse and friend Elvia Summers, the physicians and staff of Covenant Healthcare-Harrison ICU for their selfless and caring efforts on Chriss behalf. Chris was preceded in death by one brother, James E. Colvin.
