Mrs. Christine Springer went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 53 years. She was born May 9, 1961 in Saginaw, Michigan to Charles Pratt and Gloria (Pastor) Lathon.
Christine was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour in 1989, and was a member of the World Outreach Campus Church under leadership of Pastor Hurley J. Coleman. She loved playing bingo, spending time with her family and cooking.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Tony Springer Sr.; two daughters, Tokie and Monique Springer; one son, Tony Jr. (Racheal) Springer; grandchildren Allen and Christina Brown and Da'Tarius Terrell all of Saginaw, Michigan, and Matthew Nobles of Reese, Michigan; sisters and brothers, Shirley (Gary) Branch, Joanne (Artie) Short, Jeffery (Elaine) Moore, Orlando (Lisa) Lathon, Lester (Gena) Lathon, Joseph Porter, Stephon Jones, Johnny (Dawanda) Porter , Anthony Pratt, Charles Jr. Chucky Pratt; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; five sisters-in-law, Laura Anne Glanton, June Zachery, Cynthia Redding, Vickie and Niecy Worthey; many other relatives and friends including a very special friend, Ron Rappley. Christine will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Christine was preceded in death by her father, Charles Rudolph Pratt, grandson, Tony Tre Springer III, grandparents, Pastor Charles and Zenobia Birden, Gextra and Annie Pearl Pratt; sisters, Carla Pratt and Zenobia Haney, and her mother-in-law, Grace Hindsman.
