Ms. Cindy Jackson passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at St. Mary's of Michigan. She was born in Sylvester, Georgia to John and Annie Mae Jackson.
Cindy was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan and a graduate of Saginaw High School class of 1977. She worked in retail for many years. "Pants too long, sleeves too tight, leave it with Cindy she will make it just right!", she was owner and operator of Unique Touch Alterations. She enjoyed shopping, sewing, fashion and enjoyed being with family and friends. Cindy was a Foster Parent for many years.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Alexander Jackson; three god-children, Edward and Quentin Jones, Margie Jones; two sisters, Connie (Larry) Gray, Nicole Richardson; three brothers, John (Wanda) Jackson, Jimmy Jackson, Willie (Mel) Weaver; five nieces, Nicole Collins, Krystle Griffin, Bre Jackson, Dorian Jackson and one special niece, Crystal Gray; two nephews, M.Weaver, D. Weaver; nine aunts, Willie Mae (Williams) Carter, Tasha Jackson, Bessie Queen Simmons, Margaret (George) Baskins, Donna (David) Smith, Vina (Nate) Grace, Ann Crittenden, Mattie (David) Worthy, Lillie (William) Harrell; many uncles; three cousins, Deborah (Tim) Bandy, Robert Williams III, Jackie (Alex) Woody; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Gloria Jones, Shirley Thomas, Carolyn Riley, Debra Parks, Rose Sutton and many more.
Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Annie M. Jackson-Richardson; father, John Henry Jackson; grandmother, Bessie Mims, brother, Philip James; uncle, Jimmie Jackson.
