Clara F. Jones passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Saginaw Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center. Age 80 years. She was born December 16, 1932 in Montgomery, Alabama to Georgia M. Reed and Rasberry Ashley.
Clara was a member of Grace Chapel Church under the leadership of Pastor James Nelson. She loved the Lord, her church and her church family. Clara retired from Saginaw General Hospital Housekeeping Department after many years of faithful service. She loved to cook and she enjoyed watching cooking shows on TV. She also loved game shows. Her favorite game show was Jeopardy. Gone but not forgotten, her presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of fifty-five years, Robert L. Jones; three stepchildren, Cordia L. Donato, Lolo (Charles) Moore, Lois Sireci; grandchildren, Jesse B. (Barbara) Stines, Sheronda M. Maclin of Buffalo, New York, Darnell L. Maclin of Atlanta, Georgia, Dante Moore of Florida, Dijon and Domonique Moore, both of New York; two cousins, Alice (Oscar) Rainey-Wilson, Dinatria Lashell Rainey; many other relatives and friends including special friend and church sister, Rhondan Ray.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Georgia M. Reed and Rasberry Ashley, one brother, C.W. Layton.
