Mrs. Clara F. Wells passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Ascension St. Mary’s Healthcare in Saginaw, Michigan at the age of 83 years. She was born July 10, 1937 in Burt, Michigan to Luke and Iva Passmore.
Clara moved to Saginaw where she met James Houston Wells. The two married and two sons were born to that union, Marc Drake and Daniel J. Wells.
Clara was active in Buena Vista Township and the Mother’s Club. She was a faithful member of Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Willie Hill, Jr. Her absence will be felt but her presence will not be forgotten.
Clara was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Wells; sons, Marc Drake and Daniel J. Wells; parents, Luke and Iva Passmore; three sisters and one brother.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter-in-law, Kim Wells; sister, Katie C. Moore; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
